I'm sure you've all seen the news by now 😊 I feel like a weight has been lifted hearing that weddings could potentially go ahead unrestricted over the summer! Let's hope the gradual easing means that everyone can enjoy their special days when the time comes. I'm not sure as yet when I can begin to take bookings for face to face consultations and fittings but I'm thinking probably after 12th April 🀞🀞 Given the news that school is going back in a fortnight I may well be available for video consultations to get planning and I will definitely be making a start on a new sample dress ❀️❀️ Anyone got any themes/ideas you'd like to see coming up in our shoots and on our catwalks? Happy Monday everyone! ...

I've been a bit down about lockdown this time and was really feeling like I've lost my mojo for everything, just plodding along doing the bare minimum of everything at the moment, so I got myself into the studio this week and got stuck into a project that was supposed to be Christmas gifts for some of my favourite littlies. I started off with a pair of ninja turtles leggings for Charlie (my son) with the amazing lycra from Mabel and Roo (I'll pop fabric and pattern links in the comments!) using the Made for Mermaids Bonny leggings pattern. Then I made fleece hoodies for the bigger ones using the Finley Hoodie from Peanut Patterns and the teeny tiny one with the Brindle and Twig toddler hoodie. The little joggers were a mash of a romper pattern and the bonny leggings waistband. All of these patterns are freebies and you just print them off as a PDF and stick them together. The fleece fabric was from Tia Knight fabrics. I'm so chuffed with all of the makes and the kids loved them too (although my littlest neice hasn't got hers yet) I definitely want to get back up to the studio this coming week and get started on another hoodie for Charlie and possibly the beginnings of a new sample dress 🀞🀞🀞 ...
